John A. Casesa, Managing Partner
John Casesa founded Casesa & Co. in 2006 after a long career as a Wall Street auto analyst.

Mr. Casesa previously served as Global Coordinator for Automotive Research and Managing Director at Merrill Lynch & Co. He led the firm's team of auto analysts producing equity research on more than 100 auto-related companies throughout the world and was ranked as an All-Star analyst 11 times by Institutional Investor magazine.

From 1989 to 1999 Mr. Casesa was a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee at Wertheim Schroder & Co. From 1986 to 1989 he was a member of the Marketing and Product Planning Staff at General Motors Corporation.

Mr. Casesa has addressed the senior management and boards of many companies, trade associations and policy groups and serves as an industry advisor to the Automotive Governors at the World Economic Forum's annual gathering in Davos, Switzerland.

Known for his knowledge of the industry's extensive value chain, Mr. Casesa created and hosted conferences on topics including The Transformation of Vehicle Retailing, Automaker Productivity Trends, The Evolving OEM/Supplier Relationship, Pension Reform, The Health Care Cost Crisis in the U.S., Trade Policy in the Auto Industry and Auto Safety Trends. In 2005, he co-authored with the World Resources Institute the landmark report, Energy Security & Climate Change: Investing in the Clean Car Revolution.

He has been a featured speaker at leading industry conferences including the Automotive News World Congress, the Center for Automotive Research's (CAR) Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, and conferences hosted by the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), the American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA), the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA), and the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA), and the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.

Mr. Casesa is a past member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB) User Advisor Council and served as a founding member of the New York Stock Exchange's (NYSE) Research Analyst Qualification Exam Committee.

He holds a B.S. magna cum laude from St. John's University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Dennis C. Cuneo, Senior Advisor
Dennis C. Cuneo is a senior advisor to Casesa & Co. He is also counsel with the Washington law firm of Arent Fox LLC and leads his own consulting firm, DC Strategic Advisors LLC.

Cuneo was Senior Vice President of Toyota Motor North America until 2006 where he had a broad range of responsibilities. As one of Toyota's first American executives, Cuneo played a key role in the launch of Toyota's manufacturing operations in North America.

Cuneo was previously Board Chair of the Federal Reserve branch in Cincinnati, held gubernatorial appointments in California, Kentucky and Mississippi, and was an attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice.

He sits on the Boards of AK Steel Holding Corporation, Borg Warner Inc., the National Stock Exchange, Loyola University (New Orleans), and the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago. He is also on the Visiting Committee of the University of Chicago's Physical Science Division.

Cuneo holds a B.S. from Gannon College, an M.B.A. from the Kent State University and a J.D. from Loyola University.

Glenn Mercer, Senior Advisor
Glenn Mercer is senior advisor to Casesa & Co. He is a Director of the International Motor Vehicle Program and leads his own active consulting practice.

Mercer was a Partner and Senior Practice Expert for Automotive at McKinsey & Company until 2006. In over twenty years at McKinsey, he led or participated in hundreds of client engagements across a wide range of businesses including automakers, truck builders, suppliers, dealerships, collision repair, aftermarket parts, auto insurers, car rental and vehicle remarketing. He has consulted to the top management of most U.S., European and Asian auto-related firms and advised on over fifty potential acquisitions and due diligence projects.

Mercer was previously employed by Standard Oil of Ohio and the Central Intelligence Agency.

He has been an advisor to the Automotive X Prize, the Rocky Mountain Institute’s Mobility+Vehicle Efficiency project and a lecturer on the economics of the auto industry at Case Western Reserve University and the Wharton School.

Mercer holds an A.B. from Dartmouth, an M.A. from Yale, and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School.

James Chao, Associate
James Chao is an associate at Casesa & Co. Prior to joining Casesa & Co. in May 2008, James served as a consultant to the retail auto industry, held various positions at Penske Automotive Group (formerly United Auto Group) and was an associate at First Manhattan Consulting Group, a leading management consulting firm specializing in projects in the financial services industry.

James holds an A.B. in History from Harvard College.

Navin Kumar, Associate
Navin Kumar is an associate at Casesa & Co.?Prior to joining Casesa & Co. in June 2008, Navin worked as an analyst in UBS's Investment Banking division, as part of the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance Group.

Navin graduated with a B.S.E in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Maryann N. Keller, Senior Advisor
Maryann Keller is senior advisor to Casesa & Co. She is a principal of the automotive consultancy, Maryann Keller and Associates.

Keller was one of the most recognized analysts in any industry during her 28 year career on Wall Street. Her forward looking research on the auto industry was characterized by its candor, thoroughness and global perspective. She is the author of Rude Awakening: The Rise Fall and Struggle to Recover at General Motors (1989, William Morrow), Collision: GM, Toyota and Volkswagen and the Race to Own the Twenty First Century (1993, Doubleday) and The Keller Report on Remarketing: A Definitive Guide for the Auto Industry (2005, Royal Media Group).

In 2001 Keller served as a member of the National Academy of Sciences panel studying Corporate Average Fuel Economy. The committee's report was sent to Congress on July 31, 2001 and was important in framing the debate over fuel economy. She also served on the 1992/1993 National Academy of Sciences panel on fuel economy and the 1993/1994 panel on Intelligent Vehicle Transportation Systems.

After her analyst career, Keller was President of Priceline.com Incorporated's Auto Services division.

Keller holds B.S. in Chemistry from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the City University of New York's Bernard Baruch School. She is a director of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, a New York Stock Exchange listed company. Keller is a frequent contributor to business and industry publications and a speaker at major industry conferences. She spoke, on three occasions, before the prestigious Economic Club of Detroit.
